Slow :

Place an add in freecycle or some news papers will run absolutely free ads at no charge. Just state you are in need of a walker. If they ask, it's for an elderly friend , and just smile !

I found most of mine at Goodwill all were $8.00 or less.

Slow. I have used old disks blades but those are heavier. some very heavy. But so far the best ag item I have found is a shield from a rolling cultivator.

Mike, the E(lectrical) M(echanical)T(ubing) hangers are for attaching 'lectric conduit to a wall etc. 'Lectric supply house should have them. If you can't find them in River City could get them at Orange Box or Green Box here.

I used spring clamps for hanging broom handles for mine. It is not as secure as the EMT clamps, but will get you through your gathering. Also search the 'net for electrical supply.

newbie here and a Dutchie, spend a couple of hours every night learning about TD's etc and when I stumbled on this thread, I just kept reading. GREAT idea, Bob?I like the Lodge DO tables but they are expensive and heavy, and no way am I going to stuff it into the TD when its built, so its off to Value Village for a walker, will probably use a cheep Chinese Wok
thanks Jan

WAY TO GO

Mine sets on the deck at home when not camping. Used it Sat. night to support my Smokey Joe Jr. grill. Made teriaki chicken brests and baked onions on the grill.

Here ya go Slow....

Baked onion

peel and quarter but don't cut thru. Add a hugh blop of real butter and season with what you like ( garlic and steak seasoning is my choice) Wrap in heavy duty foil and add an ounce or two of water (or beer) and wrap loosly to let steam escape as it cooks.

The chicken breasts are treated much the same but I have added a fancy version. I take stove top stuffing and a can of chicken noodle soup and mix to a paste consistancy. I split the breasts and stuff the concoction in the cavity. Cooking takes about 30 - 45 minutes in the foil and the last 5 minutes or so I remove the breasts from the foil and grill mark the breasts and it also toasts the edges of the stuffing. You may want to secure with a tooth pick or two to avoid losing the stuffing when turning.
