AC Installed plus Pics

Postby caveflower » Thu Apr 19, 2012 5:57 pm

Well we got the Ac installed and It looks and works great. We had to rebuilt the cabinets up front and we made a hatch for venting of the AC. Now we have AC and 12volt heat. Bring on any weather and we're ready.

Quick question: What are you doing for condensation or where is it draining to and do you have it canted back some so when you have the tongue raised (we do to raise our heads some) it doesn't drain out the front?

Cliff

ps: reason is we bought one that supposedly didn't have water that leaked out, yeah woke up to po'ed wife who was soaked at 2am in the morning from it running out the front on her side .

Cool! Sorry, I had to say it.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

We made a pan and it has a drain out of the bottom of camper. It is canted back quite a bit we usualy kepp the camper level so no problems with it drianing out the front. You can't see it in the pics. Hubby is a plumber so not a problem. He knows Sh*% runs down hill. ;) Plenty of air space around the thing so no problems with Ice up. Cools the camper in 3.5 minutes.

Happens to me, too, all the time. Must be something they eat.

Cheers,
