 You go girl!!!!
Love fresh wood smell too.

My guy enjoys anything I don't leave for him to do. It's a turn on to not have to fix something every weekend.

Course he did buy my table saw for my birthday.

Fire ban should be taken care of for now. Just have to worry about the monsoon.

Lets do the MO, OK, KS, AR thing it will be fun. Anyone in????

If you are going underground with the wire run 1" PVC pipe instead of just wire. Protects the wire and makes it cheap to upgrade/repair. 1" will handle a 60A 240V service.

Way to go Julie!!!

I saw some jars with gingerbread men on them today in a store window. Thought of you. I'll go back to look at them better when the store is open.

Keep up the good (and fast) work. See you at Beavers Bend.

And a MOKAN gathering sounds great!!

Julie,
Way to go! Your off to a good start. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to fill up that barn with tools and trailers. I'd kill to have an out building like that to work on my projects. I'm sure you'll get the electrical worked out. I thought about bringing my half finished trailer to Beaver Bend but I don't have it licensed yet so we'll be tenting it. Maybe we can take a few minutes for some preliminary planning for a MOKANOKARKMISILLNEB..oh hell, a gathering. Keep up the good work.

Scott and Sylvia
Are we there yet?

Go Julie!

Congrats on making some good progress! As I sit here at the computer, sawdust still in my hair from my first real build day - oh wait, I better stop before these forum guys get too lathered up. I'm a happily married woman, after all
Seriously, looking good and keep at it!

Jeanette

PS, I definitely have shop envy!

Before the rain started this evening, I got the trailer into the 'barn' /workshop. My son's trusty dog, Dakota, who is now the teardrop guard dog!

Then the ripped 2x4's made the frame and the plywood floor is on.

Now it's flipped over and getting ready to cut the 3/4 insul board tomorrow, rain or shine, and glue/screw that on.That's my helpful neighbor and friend, Phil. Without his help, it would've certainly taken twice as long and might not have been good and straight!! haha

No footwell , thanks to the trailer maker who didn't pay attention to my instruction. And now I don't really have room to put the spare under the pillow area... so I guess it will go in the trunk of my car.
Jules

Jules, you rock girl!

Teardrops aren't just for guys anymore.

It sounds a bit silly, but I'm really proud of the progress that I'm making. I put off building a trailer for a couple of years because I really didn't think I could actually build it. I was scared to death that I would mess it up and have to throw the whole project away. Finally I scaled back my design and decided that it was all about building a trailer I could enjoy, not a showpiece to impress people. That state of mind has helped me a lot as I build. I'll do my best every step of the way, but if it's not perfect, I still did it myself and I'm proud of it.

I'm really excited to see that you have started your build. I'm looking foward to the progress pictures as you go. Be careful with the cutting tools. I've been lucky and only had a few minor cuts.

I've got to get working on finding a cute neighbor though...
