No. We re-used the stuff that was on there. removed the plastic glides, glued it on a new strip of plastic tape, and sewed that onto the curtain. It works. I'd love to find some new glide tape, though. Even RV Dr. George didn't have any. It's like it evaporated. It was the same system that was in my 72, and this one is a 79. So it wasn't all that obscure. I just don't get it. Especially since I bought some 6 years ago at an RV supply about 100 miles from here. So it was still being made then.

I am looking for that same tape without success to redo the curtains on my 86 Pilgrim camper. If anyone finds it first please let me know. I hate to take down my my nice aluminium wall mount track and replace it with some plastic crap just to use the glide tape they have available. [email protected]

I also need the t - glide vinyl carrier tape and have looked everywhere for it so I can make new curtains for our 2000 Lance truck camper. The closest thing I have found is a t - glide with an elastic that can be sewn in. Here's the website http://recmar.com/products_accessories.htm#3042
Looks like an okay way to do it, but only for ceiling mounted tracks...but my tracks are wall mounted. Reusing them is what I originally thought, but the vinyl tape is too cracked and torn in several places. If anyone finds some and can get 2 yards for me I would be a real happy camper!
