Just wanted to keep you all updated, or check out the links at http://scootercannonball.com.

I'm hoping he's not working too hard and won't be too beat to make it over to the Dam...can't wait to hear his stories from the road!

Oh, no!! The rumors spread!!!!

We will find out soon...he's no stranger to the law when on 2 wheels, let me tell you. And he has a heavy throttle hand. Or whatever is the equivalent of a lead foot.

If he arrives at the finish line in an AZ pink jumpsuit we will know what happened...but we still won't know what he did to land himself there!!

Eric..nobody knows yet what happened with that picture. I have some ideas, but I'm sure there is more of a story than we know!

Yeah, maybe the cop didn't like being passed by a shop-vac going 80! That was classic!

Sue has posted a Youtube video of Lee called "lee finishes cannonball"..I searched and cannot locate it. I know when I've posted on youtube there was a lagtime while content was screened or something.

Anyway...I could not find it. If someone can, please post it here for everyone to see..pre Sue's request!

Thanks!!

I just got off the phone with Lee....Sue and Shelly arrived just ahead of him at the Vespa dealership in San Diego. They didn't have the finish line set up yet. He was in good spirits and said that the seat was perfect for the long ride and that he put on some new rubber on the rear for the last haul as there was going to be some 70mph speeds. He was the only one in Joshua Tree Monument on the road when the sun rose and said it was spectacular. Congratulations Lee.....very well done! Doug
