Hardener in Valspar tractor paint?

Postby les45 » Thu May 03, 2012 3:26 pm

Anyone using hardener in their Valspar tractor paint? Pros vs. cons? Any issues with the flexing in wood frames and skins?
I'm leaning toward that paint for my weekender and I hope to be painting in about a week.

I did on the firsy coat and will on the last coat but becareful and read the directions and have a good respirator! You have to measure it 2oz for a qt of paint and stir for 30mins for it to activate, if you add it to the gal after 8hrs you have to chunk the paint as it won't be any good. So I did mine 2oz to a qt instead and seems like its worked fine.
