I believe several people on this board have. I'm using a combination of canvas and water proof glue my self due to cost but I can't imagine the stuff wouldn't work. I do wonder how well it keeps the heat down inside though.

Eddie, what brand of glue did you use on your canvas? How is it holding up for you? I wonder if the roof would do better if I used glue then lay the canvas in the wet glue then use two coats of exterior paint over the canvas, then two coats of Gaco roof coating.
I started out with nothing and I still got plenty left.

Check the Foamies section for more information than you probably want on covering foam with canvas using an assortment of glue/paint/lagging coatings, etc.

Kirk, I already have the Gaco roof coating, it was a little high but nowhere as high as the liquid EPDM. I really don't like snowroof, I tried that a couple of times a few years ago and all it did is peel up after a little while.

I took the paint back to Ace and bought a gallon of Tightbond II. Do I thin the glue down for the first coat or use full strength? I bought the #10 untreated canvas as I thought it would hold up better than the #8. Do I lay the canvas in the wet glue? How do I stretch the canvas, do I hang weights from the canvas until it dries? Sorry for all the questions I really just don't know.

I haven't gotten to the point of glueing the canvas down but I intend to use Tight Bond 2. I.ve used this stuff before for other out door projects and it's been impressive.

Have you 'poked' around at any of the big box stores yet? If you go see some one in the "roofing dept." they might have some experience with a similar thing. I'm curious now as to how this works because I was thinking about having my trailer under-coated but this might save some cash.....

Eddie, I used the black fiber roofing tar looking stuff, I think, it was from Lowe's. I put my styrofoam insulation in the bottom of the floor then coated all of it at once. It never did leak the first time, here is a link showing the bottom of my floor before I flipped it over and installed it.
