Beach Bash 2012, Crystal Beach, Texas, May 11-13

Well, Our plans got changed and we will not be making it this year to the Beach Bash But, somebody, please, catch a shark or 2 for me and everyone have a wonderful and safe weekend !!!! See ya'll on the next outing !!!

We are leaving Midlothian early Friday morning (about 2am) so we can enjoy all day on the beach. Looking forward to seeing everybody there. Safe travels everyone.

We will bring a 6 cup rice cooker

I will have my 4 c rice cooker. Not huge but it will contribrute. We are heading down Thursday morning so eta is mid afternoon.

We won't be able to make it this year Mothers day trumped our plans. We have an aging Grandmother (95 yrs young) and our family will be getting together to celebrate with her this year. Hope everyone has a great time!

Sorry Guys but Dave and I have a new Grandson coming any day now. We were at Beaver bend when Holly's first baby was born. We can't miss this one - besides he is breech and could have complications. See you next time.

Just a note to say Thank Y'all very much for the warm welcome and all of the tours of the neat teardrops that were there! We very much enjoyed looking at all of your creations and I think Kerrie is now convinced that I'm not entirely crazy (well, not any more than before, anyway! ) and it IS possible to build something like this in my garage!

We spent the drive to Surfside (at least the part not disturbed by the flat tire!!! ) discussing all kinds of ideas for My teardrop build...which has now apparently become OURS!!!

I'm gonna check into cabins at Lake Bistineau (sp?) and we might actually see y'all there!

Well how was wet fest

It only rained at night. The weather during the day both Friday and Saturday was GREAT! Y'all missed a really great trip! I can not say enough about Linda and Eddie's hospitality. Thanks so much for all the effort and trouble y'all went through for us.

Well how was wet fest

It came down hard Thursday and Friday nights, while we slept. Friday, Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday were sunny and nearly perfect, temperature wise. We had a campfire on the beach Saturday night.
