New from Eastern Iowa with travel trailer project

Postby carmak » Wed May 09, 2012 9:16 pm

I have a not so tiny 31ft travel trailer but I aspire to has a vintage tear drop or tiny to pull behind my 57 Cadillac.

I am also currently helping a friend repair / restore his 68 tiny that had a large branch land on the roof a couple years ago.

If any of you live in the Iowa City, IA please drop me an e-mail [email protected]

Welcome to the Forum!
!957 Caddy????
We have been building our unconventional teardrop to tow behind my wifes 61 Studebaker Hawk this summer.
But due to the length of the teardrop build. We have not finished the Hawk and will be towing it behind my 1946 Studebaker M Series PU.
Good Luck with you build, and please check out my album. Sorry there are no up to date pictures there but.....?
To busy working on the TD to post pictures.

Welcome from SE Iowa. A teardrop or tiny trailer would look good behind the 57 Caddy. I have owned tent trailers, pickup campers and a class C motor home. I started looking at teardrops a few years ago---have built two so far and like them better than any other way of camping.
I am about 90 miles south of Iowa City. If you would like to look at a tear PM me.
