Happy Mothers Day to Me!

Postby campmaster-k » Sun May 13, 2012 11:57 am

Who says you cant go to the flea on mothers day? Everyone apparently. Anyway I made a deal or two and got a pass to go the the flea market, on Mothers Day.

What I found is not many shoppers at the flea market on Mothers Day. Here is what I found .

I do not discriminate when it comes to Coleman Lanterns, to me they are all lovable. I like old ones, new ones, big ones, small ones, ones that shine and dirty ones. Some play hard to get, but I just pull up in the CRV and they just jump in.

Hey Kevin! Hows it going?

That 200a is a perfect doner for Dragonfires 200a. Have a great Mothers Day. 8)

That patch on the bottom looks good to me. I think I will fill it with fuel and see if it lights. :D

I think I would pressurize it and dunk it under water first.

Good finds Kirk!
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

You've got some rockin' flea markets out your way. I NEVER see stuff like that at the flea markets around here and that's why I have to resort to eBay and Craigslist. Lucky you!!

Nice work Kirk, I would have bought them to. I hit a big flea this morning and got skunked. My only find was a Singer crank sewing machine for my wife. She was happy, but I was up at 5AM !

Holy cow, Kirk! That is an amazing haul. I found a few 220F's at an estate sale, but they were $15 each, so I decided to wait to see if they were still around today, on half price day....but they were gone.

Great finds Kirk...you somehow find the good stuff.

That patch on the 200a looks...iffy. Let us know what it does..hopefully something interesting..my lantern needs a transplant...poor thing...

A couple of those lanterns look like they were at the bottom of the river for a bit...but hopefully not and all will shine up nicely. As usual, we want to see pics of how they turn out.

I won't even ask what kind of trades and deals you had to make in order to get to the bootfair. I thought you were housebound for sure today!

Hey..it's Coleman. Just a little harmless white gas addiction. What spouse could complain about that?

CRV? That's short for Coleman Recovery Vehicle, right? :D
