Any help would be appreciated

I called Coleman, no cross-ref.I have a Sears deluxe folding 3-burner propane stove, Model 920.727611. I think it's a mid 80's vintage. Sears parts has discontinued carrying the parts.
I'm trying to find replacement control knobs.

The Part No for that knob is ' 5217-20 '

See here

Perhaps show us a pic of one of the exising knobs and someone may know of the same knob from a different model or brand stove.
There will be something, somewhere. ;)

find a stick, dowl, rock. cut it approximately 1 inch long. Drill a hole the size of the shaft in the side of it (make it kind of a tight fit). squirt some 5 min epoxy into the hole (does not take much) place your new "knob" onto your stove and wait.

Perhaps a trip to an electronics store or Radio Shack would yield a knob with a set screw that would work.

Cheers,

Gus
