I was installing my cabin and porch lights today and found that all those wires make it hard to fit the light tight to the wall. With all the wires in the dual reading light with built in night light it was like whack a mole trying to keep all the wires tucked in until I could get the fixture flat enough to get some screws in it. I solved the problem by using wide electrician's tape to hold the wires down. On the ones with a lot of wires like the reading light, I tucked the wires down into the available spaces on the back side and wrapped the tape all the way across the back and around both sides. I had to do it in three places to get all the wires down flat on the reading light. On those where the tape was exposed along the sides, it pulled out easily after the fixture was installed. On some of the simpler lights I just taped the two wires down to keep them out of the way while dry fitting the fixture. Taping the wires down also keeps them away from the screw holes to avoid nicking them with the screws.
