Has anybody ever used Synta Deck Restore to skin their teardrops before?
I am in the planning process right now of building a Generic Benroy using plans from this site. I have often thought of my own ideal Teardrop as a mobile man cave where I can get away from the office whenever I want and just go fishing or hang out at the gold course or casino without worrying about getting home.
I was at Home Depot yesterday looking at what lumber costs and getting an idea of what building materials are out there. They had a display of this Synta Deck Restorer. When you put it on your deck it is thick and textured for gripping, with a surface that looks like granite. There are several diffrent colors to choose from. it is waterproof and fills in the cracks. I thought it would be much quicker and cheaper to use cheaper plywood to build the exterior of the TD and then cover it with this stuff instead of messing around with aluminum.

Looks like pretty interesting stuff. But I just watched a Youtube video on it, produced by the company. They say that it is not for vertical surfaces because of how thick and heavy it is.

Also, in response to a question below the video about using it as a roofing product, the company states that it is a water based "breathable and not a water proofer".
