General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Jeanette,
You are ahead of us so we are rooting for you.

Although I'll have to admit I've already lost a night's sleep over it (while lying awake in the middle of the night pondering over it, my sleep-deprived brain had me imagining that it was paper thin and what the heck was I doing).

I'll bet you have already read this, but everytime you get sleepless check out the "laminated sip's" and it might help.

You've got the skill, luck can come later.

Miriam - Yep, I looked over the "laminated SIPs" thread pretty closely and had a variety of other positive comments to my own posts about using the 1/8" outside skins. At 3 AM it's just hard to remember that screwing and gluing all that stuff together is going to help immensely. :?

Steve - Our little boy is going to have a stretcher-type bunk spanning the width of the trailer over our feet. Here's a somewhat obsolete rendering (I've changed the design a bit since making it), but the general idea still holds:

Jeanette, I might have the brackets you need for the bunk. A pair of doubles and a pair of singles. They are from the Scotsman that I used to build my tear. If I can find them, they're yours if you want them.

Have a good day.

That's an awfully nice offer, Gage, but I've already bought the brackets to hold up the bunk. Even tested them out one day, suspending the bunk between a couple saw horses. 8)

Thanks anyway,

Jeanette

Aw, just making the offer if you could have used them. Sounds like you have everything under control.

Have a good day.
