Oh no! The old profane verses white gas debate. I have that all the time at home and while camping. DH loves his propane crap and I love my white gas stuff. I win! Don't care what he sez... I still win. :R I am in sooo much trouble if he comes here and reads this thread. Welcome Flash. Thought I reconized the avatar. I guess the bragging about the $8 lanterns are gonna start soon.

Sorry I wasnt around to help. I fell for the Russian Coleman lantern trick by Jeremy. Now that was a good one. I still think the single burner Coleman Box stove is a myth - they all say its real. And of course there is the ever popular " That is a dangerous lantern - sent it to me trick".

Hey Rainjer if you see this post a pic of the Russian Lantern with the screen in it. I thought it was real.

If you think the russian lantern thing was funny you should have been around when Classic Finn posted this. http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=27861 I mostly lurked here at the time, and kinda figured out it had to be a prank.
 Oops the pictures are missing now. Take my word for it they were great.

The pic is missing but Doug posts it every once in a while or something because I have seen that based on his description. Good one.

This is my Oct 1970 220f. Seems to work really well. The one I've been slaving over still won't deliver fuel, so I'll tear it down again. Bummer. I didn't have to do anything to this one. It had some wild flames for awhile, but settled down. So...

I have 3 lanterns to bring to the IRG. Hopefully before then I can get the 71 and the 200a running.

Then I can start collecting more..looking for a 228F 5/65. In all the wrong places, of course!!

Propane is the way of the future.

Naw, man! All plastic LED lanterns is the lantern of the future! We 're just a bunch of anachronistic arsonists over here like to play with real fire!

Here's what we put together for Heikki's fire up. It was kinda funny, some people really flipped out on it. Then I opened the garage door and you could see my tear in there, we managed to catch quite a few people on it. Doug

LMAO Doug, as for Jeremy's Russian lantern, he caught quite a few of the guys on the CCF off guard. Luckily, we are good buds and he showed me the lantern before he posted pictures. His collection is really growing
