Coleman Keepers Campfire come on in!

Lanterns, stoves, etc... anything old!

That was a fun night Jeremy...checking out all the clip art and photos of Lenin and Marx while you were putting together the look for it. You really did a good job on it. I still think we need to do a Ho Chi Minh lantern.

Hey...for those of you that attended the dam gathering. Did any of you end up with a combination thin bodied tappet wrench with a bent end on it? It's a Sears wrench, should have DKH etched in it. I lost mine at the dam. It's the wrench I made for removing the nut on 220's 228's. Thanks. Doug

Fell for the bait, feel like a fish with a hook in my mouth. :o

Dag-nabit. Rebel rousers.

So K, I'll take my lumps. It's worth it to play with the big boys.

Sorry I wasnt around to help. I fell for the Russian Coleman lantern trick by Jeremy. Now that was a good one. I still think the single burner Coleman Box stove is a myth - they all say its real. And of course there is the ever popular " That is a dangerous lantern - sent it to me trick".

Hey Rainjer if you see this post a pic of the Russian Lantern with the screen in it. I thought it was real.

Whatcha talkin' 'bout???

I'm doing a North Korea model - a red (of Course) 220 wrapped in barbed wire were the globe is supposed to be with matches stuffed in the two down tubes - and to finish it all off - a round shot by my AK 47 through the fount! :D

Doug, I'll double check my parts box, but I don't think I have it. Trying to think who else was wrenching other than Kirk, Dave A. and Lee.

Thanks Kevin....having cleaned the shop I've got another wrench that I can bend, but it's gonna take some grinding on the head to make it work. It's not as thin as that one was. Doug

Dragonfire....Coleman manufactured a number of combination wrenches that worked on a lot of lanterns/ stoves as well as some specific ones. It's just another quirk in the whole Coleman thing. It's not just lanterns and stoves...it's wrenches and funnels as well. Just something else to search for..... See ya next weekend at Fallen Leaf. Doug

So I could have made it a 10 day trip..I was supposed to have gone to an event there..Ohana Luau by the Lake..the weekend before..and could have stayed for the Coleman thing! 2 fun things in the same cool place! Rats!

But instead I'm going to a huge scooter rally and meeting up with a high school friend in Wisconsin...still loads of fun!

Combo wrench..back to ebay, I guess!

I believe that came with my AGM 3608 lantern. I have seen similar Coleman wrenches on ebay. It is handy, although a bit short for loosening stubborn fasteners.
There are a ton of old wrenches and other tools available at yard sales and flea markets waiting for us to repurpose to a Coleman tool box.
