The two shall be as one. ( todays finds )

It was a slow day in the hunt for coleman stuff. I went out for a short while. I did find a turd with a yellow globe. I got excited when I first saw it, but I soon saw the damage. The globe was cracked but not all the way through yet. The outside of the fount and the burner cage were rusty. The cap was frozen on. It did pump up and I did hear the gurgle. I have two parts lanterns at home so I thought I would make an offer. I was able to get it for $3.00. I used one of my parts lanterns for the main body and I used the vent and the bail off this one.
Came out nice for a $4.00 investment.I still need to get a propper globe. ( no hurry) I also still have two parts lanterns for a future frankin lantern.

The one on the left is the one I bought today it just came with the vent and bail.

I also found a 425B stove. I am not looking for stoves. I don't really want any more stoves.
He said the magic words. $1.00

The cap was frozen but came free easy enough. The fuel and the inside of the tank were clean and it lit right up.
This one is in store for a paint job, maybe even a custom.

Good finds!!

Your parts 275 looks like it's missing the label behind the knob...is that true? I can see it behind the nice 275. I am looking for that label/embossed metal plate for mine...if you come across a parts 275 and that piece is going to be trash, please let me know...it's really the only thing missing from mine and would make it a really nice lantern!

I don't exactly find 275 lanterns in the wild around here..mostly trashed 220f.
