Flea market finds

I picked up a couple of items today at the flea market.

220E with an amber globe and an AGM 2572
With a little tinkering while my boy was taking a nap I was able to get them both working.
The AGM has a Coleman Globe and i think the vent is from a 220 coleman as well.

Nice lanterns ! I have one each just like those. I just got the 220 running. The AGM that I have has stress cracks.
I am going to make a frankin lantern out of it. Like the amber globe to.

The vent on the 2572 is proably correct here is mine in burgandy they look the same even my 3016 looks like a 242 vent real close but just a little bit different. I dont have my E close by to compare but I think the hole pattern is a little different.Looks like you had a good weekend.

now I'm a little worried. what do the stress cracks look like so i can make sure that i don't have any. The lantern works but you got me a little scared.

If your lanters had stress cracks you would know it. They would be leaking fuel. They look kinda like a hair going vertical along the tank. Sometimes hard to see, but the pool of fuel is unmistakable. Just don't go crazy over-pumping. If your lantern is working fine you are pprob O.K.

There is a chain going to the cap on the AGM which i thought was cool, but it meant that I had to replace the gasket instead of just replacing the cap.

I need to be finding me some AGM lanterns...I have none...but plenty of AGM stoves. I like the look of those lanterns....very nice finds. Doug

Doug I have an agm you can have it. I will bring it to our next camp. It a cool lantern just no glass.

Nice finds! The amber globe is real nice. I also need to add an AGM to my collectin.
