Perhaps this is why I don't get a lot of things done. I need to make a to do list!
Why just dance, when you can Salsa!

Need to call it a "Wish To Do" or "Hope To Do" List. Never seem to get everything on my list done.

That about sizes it up around our place too lol.
I always have a list in my head but never write it down. That way I get credit for what does get done and nobody realizes how badly I failed completing the actual list...

Tomorrows plan:
1. Wake up
2. Build
3. Build some more
4. Keep building

How many build days left until deadline, eek!

Well, the Verna-do list is on hold, temporarily. Somehow, a stray dog got into my fenced in back yard overnight, and he can't seem to get out. So, I've been trying to find his owner, because I do not want a 2nd dog, especially a 40 lb dog. He's on the Lost/Found of Craig's List, on the Humane Society's Lost/Found list (it takes 24 to 48 hours for that to be posted), and I'm comtemplating a walk on a leash later when it cools off a bit. Maybe his owner will claim him as we walk by. :worship:

He's a sweet dog, appears to be a Lab/Shepherd mix, was very hungry and thirsty, and doesn't seem to bark (my kind of dog!!). He's taken a liking to me, wants to come in the house, but I'm not having that one!!! He's an un-neutered male, and I don't know how he and Sunny Day would treat each other, and I don't want to find out if he is housebroken  (Sunny Day was attacked by a large German Shepherd in February and she's afraid of dogs who are larger than she is.)

But anyway, if he's not claimed, I hate to do it, but I'll have to take him to Animal Control. I can't take my camping vacations with an outside dog at home--that's just not the way I want to treat a dog.

So, I'm cleaning out the SideKick while waiting for someone to e-mail me......

This is why the Verna-do list never gets done.....I'm flexible....yeah, that sounds good....I'm flexible

Verna,

Don't take him to animal control. They'll kill him.

Take him to a rescue.

Weekend to-do list

Postby Verna » Mon Jun 18, 2012 9:50 am

Mike: I don't have to worry about the dog. He disappeared overnight. Maybe he took offense at me telling him to quit barking at 2:27 am this morning???!!!!

Verna,

I'm impressed how much you got checked off your list!

I didn't write down my list, and I suspect that contributed to not getting as much done as I needed to.

1. Glued one bench to length (I had to splice some foam)
2. Sent kids to Bandelier National Monument for the day with their grandpa and visiting family
3. Cut out both benches for the trailer.
4. Went to dinner with visiting family
5. Went to work at midnight
6. Went to brunch with visiting family
7. Went to sleep after early morning of work :goodnight:
8. Went to Father's Day Dinner with kids and my step-dad :) :woohoo: :pipe:

Today I'm going to the dentist. :D
