My names Wil. I'm gearing up for my first trailer build. I have a good buddy that has been building a teardrop and I caught the fever from him. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks, and have committed to building a trailer. I love the style of teardrops, but my wife wants to be able to stand up to be able to change clothes comfortably and what not. After a little looking, I came across Popular Mechanic's Wild Goose and thought that it would be a fair compromise!
I have lots of questions. I am inexperienced at everything, but no fool. I know a little about a lot of things but not a whole heck of a lot about anything

I am totally committed now... I bought a '97 starcraft 1021 pop up off craigs list for $200 (real piece of junk) and tore it down to the trailer frame. I wanted a 12 foot camper, but couldnt pass up on the 10 foot for $200! Don't really want to cut it up and extend it, so I have to tweak existing designs to fit on my 6'-10" x 9'10" frame. Cheap is the name of my game, maybe inexpensive is a more appropriate word! But I will not sacrifice quality in the name of cheap!

Looking forward to learning from everyone here!
