Some pics from camping in the Outer Banks. Went way down past the Hatteras Lighthouse to Frisco National Park. It's a no hookups large campground in the dunes next to the shore. Driving on the beach and campfires on the beach are allowed (with permits this year, which we did). The weather was great, it never got over 80, the ocean was warm, and the breeze was nice but sometimes it gusted too much for me to consider putting up my awning. I'll get pics of it next time.

Roadside park on Hwy 12 about halfway down.

The ocean was a little frothy. There were riptide warnings but you could spot them fairly easily. I stayed waist deep and body surfed a bit but didn't wander out too far. A few did.

Image
It wasn't crowded. If you drive far enough down the National Seashore you'll find huge stretches of deserted beach, even in the summer.

Campfire on the beach.

Look's like you had a great trip. Nice scenery. Your trailer is beautiful and you've got a unique design with the black and white theme. A couple of questions;

I see a fan in the background. What brand do you have and are you happy with how it works?

Your TV has a great picture. I see the antenna on the roof, is the picture from over the air or a DVD?

Thanks bigbendhiker. The fan is from Walmart, it is 12V and D cell. I hang it from hooks located in three places in the trailer, low amp draw and it has a good breeze. When used in combo with the vortex overhead vent fan (3 forward and two reverse speeds) it makes it nice in there. The fan is used by many oin this forum.

That is a picture from the Jack antenna. The signal was over fifty miles away. I highly recommend the Jack. The TV is 1080i and there is a Blu-Ray DVD player above the port side shelf.

Thanks for looking!

You have a very nice CT you have a lot in a small space and it works out so good. I like the table u have inside that folds away. :thumbsup:

Thank you much. It was definitely a constant exercise in making stuff fit. I have a few ideas yet to pursue on it though.
