reskinning tear, removing glued on aluminum

Postby Aaron Coffee » Sun Jun 24, 2012 8:31 pm

I have been thinking of reskinning "the Hydeaway", the top would be easy as it is floating, the sides are glued on with project adhesive. I built it before I found this forum. Is is possible to remove with damaging the plywood (3/4), or sould I just float the new skin over the old? Any thoughts, ideas?

Aaron, try a heat gun to make the glue go soft. You should be able to work through slowly.
