I have a question on the e-track you have.
How long is each piece of e-track the bed sits on?
How many 2x4 do you have to make up the bed?
What did you use to fasten the e-track to the wall?
Did you have to go through the wall?
How thick are your walls where the e-track is installed?
I want to have a bunk bed setup with e-track and before I order it all I want to make sure I get all the piece necessary. I am too concerned about having a sofa setup as I have space in my 7x14. I did want to setup the bunk beds with a queen below and double above. There is some concern at the moment of having one or both bunks falling. At top capacity there will be 4 adults. Two on the upper and two on the lower.
Thanks,
Andrew
The track I got initially was 5foot sections from Northern Tool Store.
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200366533_200366533 I picked them up with the lumber holders
http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200332585_200332585. 2per 2x4. It takes 6 = 2x4s to make my three bed sections. It creates a California King size bed in my 6x12. I made my bed in three sections for picking up and moving around. Just lift out of the lumber and stack it and the plywood. At first I had it all screwed together by sections but that proved out to be not so good a move for me. Now I can move and stack as needed to suit my uses.
now I just use 3/4 plywood on wood dowels I set into the lumber to hold them in position for the bed.
My track is screwed to my steel studs. and then I just zipped in 3/4" screws for additional support but I know it;s mostly just for filling in screw holes.
I had to predrill each stud hole for the screw to follow.
My walls are about 11/2 thick inside wall to out side.
I think this is the only pic I have showing my Etrack installed.

You can see I purchased 2 short pieces of Etrack from Tractor Supply to make the back of the couch as an after thought later on.
