Countertop!

Postby southpennrailroad » Wed Jul 04, 2012 3:32 pm

I do work for a counter top maker and he recently had me paint his windows and now wants the windows cleaned. I asked in return if he would make a counter top for the trailer with a cut out for sink. I just priced the faucet and sink will be about $100.00. He said it was a good deal. He does good work and keeps busy all year as his work is good. Think I am making out on this deal. Going to be a "L" shape counter top.

WooHoo! That's the way to do things, Russ. A little bartering and 'do-fer' here and there can make everybody happy.

yep, it will be a great time to finally insulate the bulk head in the front wall as well.

Oh, that's right! It's summer again and time to do a little more insulating. ...Good thinking!
Keep going like you do and you may have that trailer looking like a palace, to some folks' minds. ;)

That bulkhead is always facing the sun so it needs done. Also the fan picks up the air from that wall facing towards the back. Usually I leave the trailer from 1:30 to evening as that is when the temps climb to about 95. I grab the bike and head for the park to lay out in the shade.
