New guy from Dakota

Hi all,
My name is Bill and I anxiously await the time when I can start building. My wife has pulmonary hypertension which is chronic. I'm mostly retired but spend a lot of time as her caregiver. I do work a 8 hour a week part-time job to get me out of the house some but mostly am here caring for her. My plan is to a build a standy and take an extended tour of the western states....visit some friends and relatives, see the sights and just do whatever the cowboy spirit in me moves. I'm guessing I will start my build in about a year but of course that's depend on a lot of factors. But in any event I'll have a long time to plan and wish...you know I'm totally convinced that the journey, planning and wishing, is as good or better than the destination. At this point I'm considering Steve Frederick's Rondack Lodge or the Ladybug Winter Warrior. I've also been intrigued by the massive foamie thread....yes I have skimmed it ALL. But I really do want a standy with the galley inside and I don't know if foam construction is compatible with this size.

Thanks for having me and I'll commence dreaming!

I am sorry for your loss. It is never easy to say goodbye to someone we love. When your interest returns to building a trailer ,we are here to help. Planning can be as fun as building so do your homework and enjoy the process.
