T@B campers

Postby Happytears » Tue Jul 03, 2012 11:25 am

Hi all, been looking at teardrops for months now trying to find the right one. Ran across a listing for a 2007 T@B with an outside galley. Looks interesting to me. Does anyone have one? Are they good units? Any problems to speak of? Would appreciate any input that anyone could share.
Thanks,
Dee

I believe that the earlier T@b's had a roof delamination problem. Not sure of the years that were affected.

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

I went into a new T@B Trailer with a Pal who was shopping for a TTT, just to look around it. This Model had the Kitchen up front. I'm 6'1". Head clearance was, on a good day, 5'9". So, it was a non-starter for us ~6' footers.

I looked at several and found them to be too heavy and too pricey for me. :(

Just my 2 cents.

The first ones I saw had cracked or checked windows and the moldings where falling off. Haven't seen any up close in a couple of years now.

There was some discussion that T@B trailers were going to be manufactured again. What is the company that bought the rights to remake it? I haven't seen any new ones advertised.

Thanks for the memory jog. It will be interesting if market will have a demand for this size travel trailer. While it may not be something for those of us that have a trailer already, it may be a solution for others wanting to get out for road adventures.

Just got through talking with a couple camping across from us In Bismark KOA who have the TAB clamshell (rear galley) theirs is an 08 and they love it, mostly but it does leak, but not in the galley, they think.
