We are moving

Postby PaulC » Sat Jul 07, 2012 1:20 am

On the 30th of this month we have settlement on the sale of our house. We are moving two and a half hours north of Adelaide, into the Flinders Ranges. The property is sixteen acres of sheer bliss. The house is totally solar powered and a fair bit smaller than the one we are in currently. Yep, sea change time for the Cotters.
Unfortunately we will be internetless (is that a word) for about a month.
If you google Laura , that's the name of the town, you will get a bit of history on it.
Cheers
Paul

Aw, you're just moving there to get closer to 'Golden North Ice Cream Factory'. ;) Have a safe move and we'll look for you when you get back on line in September. Won't look to hear from you in August.

sixteen acres of sheer bliss.

Sounds like a dream come true.

Good luck on your move!

Sounds like a great plan Paul! We'd like to do something along the same line in the future. Hope it all goes well, see you in the spring ;)

And we'll expect lots of pictures of the bliss too 8)

Oh yeah, must hear more about the ice cream too. Honey flavor sounds great

Good luck with the move and with the adjustment to
'downsizing' and lifestyle change !

16 acres wow. I am getting the feeling a large teardrop gathering in the backyard. In the near future.

Daniel Sims
Daniel Sims lives in Dunt, South Australia, which is the only fictional location in We Can Be Heroes, which is based on the town of Little River, Victoria. He is 17 years old, and largely a parody of rural, country people. He lives with his mother; his hearing impaired twin brother, Nathan; and his two younger brothers and sister. His father died in a car crash many years ago.

Thanks Jenn ;) Nup nowhere near it.
Cheers

Cute little town.... so you can have shoes made there and I saw the Laura information center. There is even a google car passing a google camera car. you get to see the set up.
Looks like many like many small towns in the US. Cept I would want to drive on the wrong side of the street there. Why is there a sign that says 50 on the right side facing the wrong direction? Get many Yanks there that get lost and forget what country they are in??

Enjoy the new house.
