Central New York Newbie...

Postby Rick Chiddy » Sun Jul 15, 2012 10:21 am

Greetings one and all, :)

Semi-retired guy here from the Finger Lakes Region. Been lurking for a while, and I'll be lurking a while longer, but I've decided to build. Loving :woohoo: and hating :x this forum at the same time. So much information... so little time. Actually, I have a lot of time, but, the longer I sit here, :relaxing: the less I'm building. :hammer:

Ok, back to the build threads....and more ideas !

Greetings Rick.

Semi-retired? That means you ought to be finished with your build in six months or less. One of these days, I need to visit your part of the country.

Take care,
Tom

good to see someone in this area has interest too (im located in batavia). I lurk myself and am going to start my build soon im semi retired too but not by choice. I am using a old trailer that was used as a tent camper, a mini one from the 60s however when i got it all the parts and canvas was gone, total loss. The frame is light and rusty so all i plan on using is the springs, axle and wheels. The heat has kept me from this project though I would relay like to use it 4 weeks from now so heat or not I have to get on it. Well good luck and if you need a second hand sometime that is something I can do. Stephen

Hey there Stephen,

I do thank ye for the offer. We will definitely have to meet up sometime and pick each others brains...

I hear ye with the heat, this is brutal. Haven't started mine yet either....well, kinda...been messin' around with the trailer.

Later,
