Newbie from Central Texas

Postby stonnnneeee » Tue Jul 17, 2012 3:39 pm

Hi all, Bob from Texas here. I think it is time to start building something. I have been scouring this site for months for ideas.
A lot of great TD's here. A million ideas also. Making a list of what I want in it, looks like a Christmas wish list :D
I am thinking of a 5 x 10 trailer, Saab 93 as my towing vehicle. Step one is finding a trailer, I have looked at the HF, TSC and NT trailers.
 Anything definitive on who has the best trailer to start with? Seems that all have been used in one form or another.

Hopefully I will have time to keep everybody updated on my progress

Welcome Bob,
Glad to have you on board! Any one of those trailers will make a good base for a teardrop. Check out the South Central section if you haven't done so already. You'll see a list of area gatherings. With the summer heat there's not too much going on right now. The next event is in September at Loyd Park on Joe Pool lake. Even if you haven't finished your build - mine took three years - stop by to meet everyone, get a few ideas, share a Saturday night pot luck dinner, etc.
Take care,
Tom
