Yeah, I'm hoping it's nicer than it looks.....

We got spoiled by a governor Dodge park in Wisconsin. I like feeling like I'm the only one there. The wide open parks generally don't impress. Although gatherings are little different...

The actual campgrounds sort of resembles a wal mart parking lot ( with large parking spots)

But the park trails are very nice and features are interesting.

Verna, thanks for the contributions.

Get ready for the "Pitch-in Breakfast" on Sunday morning. This can be a Dutch oven cooked breakfast for those who want to prepare a dish or a conventional breakfast for those who would like to cook more traditional foods.
Electric skillets, camp stoves, deep fryers, hot coffee and may other things.

When
The breakfast will be from 8:00am to 10:00am Sunday morning and will be a great way to both learn about Dutch Oven cooking as well as a great way to finish the Gathering season.

Where
Same site as the Pitch-in Dinner on Saturday night.

We already have Orange Juice (thanks to Verna) so if you want to bring something, just post on the forum.

More details will be coming on this so stay tuned..........

So rather than lugging the finished product we can all cook at the serving site????

I challenge Barb Clark to the breakfast cassarole battle

and this was before it was even done. I garnished it with shredded cheese and a sprinkle of toasted hash browns.

I was to hungry to get a "Finished " picture :x

If anyone needs to borrow a sattelite D.O. Table I can loan out a few I have 4 extra

Bob, with several Dutch Oven entries, I think I'll cook up some Belgium Waffles with Strawberries and Whipped cream.

Hopefully, we'll have a lot of interest (by new campers) in the Dutch Oven cooking that makes the food taste and look so good.

This should be fun... What a great way to finish out the Hoosier Chapter gatherings for 2012 :applause:

As we get more entries, I'll compile a "Menu List".

Between the "Chili Dump" and the "Big Breakfast" we should all go home with a full stomach. :R

Might be nice to have a "training" session, not just to taste but to talk about methods.

Bob, there is no way I will accept your challenge. I know yours will be better so I'll just enjoy eating yours and not worry about mine being compared to yours. :D :D

Hey, Bob!!!! Hollar if you need some more ingredients, OK? I won't even think about a challenge since I have trouble cooking for more than one person and one small dog  . A low calorie dish would be great

Barb, that might be true. Plus, Bob's will probably feed most of the breakfast crew.

I hope we have a good turnout.
