I have heard they have great customer service and teh parts are ok. What plans are you thinking of buying and you can always go with Generic Benroy plans in teh design resources at the top of the page here. I bought the kuffle creek plans and poured over then and used it as a jumping off point, but i found the information here if you search and ask for help much more valuable. JMO.

I bought a lot of major parts for my weekender from Vintek (doors, Fantastic fan, Progressive converter, lights, hurricane hinge, vinyl insert edge trim, etc.). Frank and Deanna are super to deal with and they ship really quick (usually received my items in two days by UPS). Prices are very reasonable and customer service can't be beat. Frank is always willing to give technical advice on your build.
I highly recommend this company for anyone needing teardrop stuff.

They are very good to deal with and product is very good. They ship fast and if you have questions Frank will give you a call to answer as soon as he can. I bought my lights, door handles, license bracket and all the trim from them.

I purchased their plans. They're not as good as the generic benroy plans. However, I am not disparaging Frank Bear or his operation at all. I have bought several other parts from him and have been more than satisfied with the products and the service. I am using the doors and they are very well made. Although a bit pricey, worth it in my opinion. He is the nicest guy you will ever want to talk to and is always willing to help you with anything you need. I was shipped a wrong trim ring with one of my doors and just suffice it to say he went over and above to make it right.

I would say buy from him without hesitation. But I haven't referred to those plans once. You'll find far more information right here on this forum, for free. If you're looking to spend money on something beyond the free Benroy plans, probably the Kuffel Creek Cubby plans (which many people on this forum have used) or Steve Frederick's manual would be a better choice in my opinion.

I bought our teardrop from him last year site unseen, other than pictures of it on his website. Got up there and the 2" ball I bought didn't have a long enough shank for the receiver hitch. Frank had one laying around and helped me get it all put together. No charge. We've had the teardrop for almost a year now and love it. The only issue we ever had was the door seals leaked going down the road in a rainstorm. Odd thing is they never leaked preasure washing the teardrop. I emailed Frank about and he sent me out some additional seals to solve the problem. I wouldn't hesitate a second about buying from him again.
