Hello from Minnesota

Postby Beau26 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 4:55 pm

I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I'm new to the forum, but have been checking out all the builds here for some time now. I don't have a Teardrop (yet). I'm planning on starting my build this fall. before joining i was interested in finding a camper I could easily pull behind my Mini Cooper. The interest has now turned into obsession. I'm hoping I can pull off something in the 5X9 range so I can have a queen size bed, on that same note it has to be light enough for my TV. A lot of my questions have been answered in the boards already, but I know I'll be asking many more when the project starts taking shape. I'm looking forward to your advice, and eager to start my build.

Welcome Beau26. The mini always make me think of the first car I had access to, my mother's Austin American, really, a mini. There was no way my father was going to let his 16 y.o. son in his Impala SS.

I think that I have seen several builds with a Mini as the TV on the forum. There have been several others on the UK side with small TVs. I wish you the best of luck.

BTW, did you know that you can actually get 18 people in a mini and drive it around the block? :o
