help I'm falling apart, not really.

Postby pete42 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 10:14 pm

I have been to the VA hospital more times in the past few weeks than ever before.
Last week it was kidney stones, some time before it was a sore ear, then a bad rib
today I went for physical therapy for the rib and a hearing test the PT went well up to the point they hurt my neck
at the age of 13 I dove into a swimming pool and cracked a vertabrae now at 70 it is letting me know how dumb I was.
anyway when they were working on my rib the had me do some neck movements and boy did it hurt.
kind of sore in the neck and back where the rib is but the exercises should help both.

then on to have my hearing checked, they said my hearing was fine up to a point then it dropped off the chart not tappered off it dropped off sharply
so they filled my ears with some molding stuff and set me up to get hearing aids......

I wonder if they have something for memory?

old and feeling older

Yep Old age is a pain. I was talking to a welder a number of years ago as I was waiting for a weld to cool so that I could do an inspection and said " do you remember waking up in the morning and not having anything hurt" his reply "vaguely".
I have been having problems with my left ankle being sore when walking and the last shoe fitting gave the hint. My left foot was longer than the right, the arch was in the process of collapsing, trip the following week to the podiatrist and new arch supports. Finding the underlying cause is important.
