Running Wire Through/Around Hurricane Hinge on Hatch

Hi Folks:

I hope this hasn't already been answered - I did my best to search before deciding to post.

Does anyone have advice or photos showing how to run electrical wiring from the hatch into the trailer? How do we run it around, or through, the hurricane hinge?

My hatch is sealed on the inside and I ran my wiring to a location near the hinge and came out there. Put a plug on it and then ran wiring up through the galley near there and have about a 8 or 10 inch section of wire (with twisted wrap on it) that shows and I can unplug the hatch if I need to take it off for any reason.

Here is a pic that shows it in the upper right corner

We did the same as toy pusher except I have wire drops on both sides.
