Newbie - Portugal

Postby pmcoliveira » Wed Aug 29, 2012 4:36 pm

Hello everyone,

My name is Pedro Oliveira and I'm writing from the other side of the Atlantic ocean...
...Portugal.

Since I can remember that I love the out door, specially camping.
Recent I came across with the teardrop campers.

I'm thinking on building my own and on my searches I ended up in this forum...
... It is being a wonderful reading.

Thank you all for sharing.

Welcome Pedro!

:applause: :thumbsup: :applause:

I can't wait to see your build begin.

By the way, I've always wanted to visit your beautiful country. Maybe I will some day.

Take care,

Hi Pedro! I am happy you found this site. I can be helpful when you are building your teardrop. Have you seen other teardrops in Portugal? If you do see other teardrops, maybe you can post a picture on this site, so we can see too!

Thank you all for your sympathy,

@aggie79
Portugal is a beautiful country with lovely landscapes.
I've enjoy reading your built thread simply delicious...
... all the details and I love your profile.

@ the other side
I never saw a teardrop in Portugal, there's a lot of camper and trailer tents, but teardrops in its essence never saw. There's a company in Portugal that builds small camper that look-a-like a teardrop but I never saw one on the road.

@shadow catcher
Well that's one of the good things that internet brought us, the capability of sharing good things.
Para ti meu amigo, é sempre bom recordar.

If you ever need something from Portugal or any help about portuguese please feel free to reach out.
Has for my build, well It will take a while.

Regards
Um abraço de Portugal :)

Welcome Pedro!

Look forward to seeing your build progress. I trust you will find the people on the board very responsive to any questions you may have, a great group here. Be sure to post lots of photos, we all love them!

I travel a lot for work, and I was lucky enough to visit Portugal I was in Monte Real. In 2013, I most likely will visit Terceira Azores as well.

Again, best of luck in your build and welcome to the group!
