Hi TKers!
Yes, I have to agree with what CD said about it taking soooooooooooooo long to get on this thread, and then I constantly get rejected and error messages, so I move on to other sites/threads. But, I still try and was successful this morning.

I have summers off from work and spend most of the time up in the house I have in the mountains where it is much hotter than the coast. If you want to see some of what I was uP to this summer, you can check out the IRG event ( I did NOT mention the work TD here) or Outdoor Cast Iron Cooking. And no, this is not just a plug, it is a way for you to see what's been happening.

And CD, I AM GOING TO WIN THE TK t-Shirt !!! :R But you can have the consolation prize.......hickory smoked lamb ribs!!! Come n get 'em!!

Well, I had a free hour, so I thought I'd use it to make a post here.

I'm still alive and kicking. I made my annual pilgrimage to Monterey for the Pebble Beach Concurs d'Elegance a few weeks ago. Camping season begins at the end of this month, with LCGV111 in October.

I'm still dong a lot of backyard cooking.

Not much else to say... but, it aint quite dead yet. ;)

:D OOOOOOooo...someone new!! :applause: Or, are you just the alien sheep in disguise??!
If you are new, it is my mission to become the official Thread Killer and win that prized tee-shirt. I see this is your first post.
Have you been stalking this thread!!??? :baby: or have you just stumbled upon it?

And why does it take so long to get a reply or jump into this thread? Really. Secret password required again, or is this thread getting stale....... :NC

As you can see from the above test - a post and a reply in less than a minute :D

:? I have tried on different computers and here is what happened just now.....
I've been trying to get on this thread for five minutes...really. I was able to read your last post about the test success. When I went to reply I got the Internal Server error". So I hit the back button and went to the last post which was the top of the page. then I clicked on two pages back, and after about a minute, the page (2 back, came up). Then I progressed to the next page, another minute, and then to the next, another min. By the time I got )o the point where I could begin to read the post right before (testing) five minutes had elapsed until I was able to begin typing this.

thanks for trying the test, and I am glad you had success, but I just find I don't always want to dink around and try to make it happen. Less time here then, but other places where I will cross paths with you TKers. I think my difficulties in getting on the TK thread are a true sign that I should be the one to kill it, but you folks keep bringing it back from the dead.

agreed - you killed it! Too much lag time trying to keep up with over 40,000 replies. Time to start a new thread killer thread
