What does everyone use to seal their wood TD's? I was planning on a marine grade polyurethane. Am I going in the right direction or the wrong?

EZ, we used MinWax ClearSheild an outdoor rated heavey bodied solvent based polyurethane on all exposed wood parts...all other wood got a coat or3 r 4 of Polycryllic a water based polyurethane...many here have used a spar varnish so the marine poly should work well...I would recommend thinning about 10% and spraying 3 or more coats, sanding any surfaces that will show between coats.
