bashed fingers arent condusive to a speedilly built trailer!

Hi every one, I haven't been on in a while and unfortunately I haven't gotten very far on my little camper, or any thing else for that matter! I smash my fingers at work and am getting better (back to work already) but am having a tough time with power tools still :x . It took a split second to mash my self up and it will take another two months I'm told to be "up to par" and by this time the weather won't allow out side work...

So this split second of getting in a rush lead to 6 months of camper work delay..... and camping. Damn.

Please people, be careful and don't damage your selves!

Just thought I'd throw that out there as a wake up call!

An added note..with messed up fingers I've learned to appreciate  spell check!

been there, done that, March of this year I strained a tendon in my right elbow changing 19 tires in one night from 5 different aircraft, I woke up the next morning unable to move my right arm  after xrays they sent me to therapy. I got a month off from work, and still must take three asprin every morning to be able to function. On top of that they gave me steriods to help me heal which gave me blisters in my eyes, (scary when you end up with a huge blue spot in one eye and flat surfaces look rounded) My eyes have almost completely healed back to 20/10 or better, but I don't know if my arm will ever be the same.

Done that as well. Half my left thumb went into our build. 24/7 pain and coldness. Three surgeries and two years later. A split second on a radial arm saw and like is for ever more changed. We need a smiley with a hurt finger. And I am a nurse and used to be a safety officer. I should have known better. Except I am still not sur how I got that much of my thumb in the wrong place. And what's done is done. Double check the location of your hand and finger with every power tool folks.
