Newbie in Oregon USA

I've been lurking for a few days, time to introduce myself. I just bought a T@B. I've been fantasizing about buying a used cargo van and doing a camper conversion myself. For several months I looked at plans and photos of what other people have done, to get ideas. But I couldn't get past two important details: All my do-it-yourself adventures have been disastrous. Really disastrous, the stuff of legends. And I am planning to spend a lot of time in the camper, so it needs to be safe and reliable. Secondly, I couldn't find a used van I liked that was affordable, had low mileage and wasn't a gas guzzler. I was driving on a long road trip during a holiday weekend, so all of the RV's were out on parade. I looked at each one, and thought, "Nope, too big... Nope, that one must cost a fortune to gas... Etc." Then someone buzzed past me in a little hatchback car, hauling a LittleGuy. I pulled over at the next rest stop, and googled "I go where I am towed" (the logo phrase on the back of the trailer), and fell in love with the whole LittleGuy and T@B line.

I have some questions about solar kits and dispersed camping, but I see there are sub-forums for those topics so I will post there.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of knowledgeable folks here who will gladly help with any questions about solar kits you have (and any other questions for that matter) :)
Where do you live in Oregon? There are quite a few forum folks who live 'up north'....and just a few of us southerners (that I know of)

Thanks for the welcome. I love near Portland, but I travel to the state of Jefferson often enough...

Made my first newbie blunder, may they be few and minor. I was returning the T@B to its spot after a "test drive" (to see how the car handled with it). Took it off the hitch, and tried to maneuver by hand to better positioning. Had a hard time getting the thing to budge. I was confused, it moved so easily before. I forgot to put the dolly wheel back on the jack. Doh!
