I do not see a picture of it, but there is a 1968 Red Dale in my town for sale for $550.

I have not looked at it, I just seen it on craigslist. I am not sure if it is still for sale or not. I can go look at it if they still have it.

Here is the listing for it. http://reno.craigslist.org/rvs/3266209148.html

Let me know,

I actually have a 1968 Red Dale camper.

Looks a bit different than the one you posted along the roof. Probably just a different model. Same length, though.

Check for water damage around the roof vent as well as around the windows.

They were pretty well built but we're talking something 44 years old. If the caulk hasn't been replaced in all that time it's bound to have some cracks.

Check out the roof too if you're able. Beyond that no real issues with it.

One thing to keep in mind though is what you intend to tow it with. Old engineering with these things which tends to mean over-built and heavy.

Mine weighed in at around 1800 pounds while still hitched to the TV. So, figure around 2000 pounds total.

14' trailers typically weigh less than that these days so if weight is an issue you might want to keep that in mind.

thankjs for info....I haven't gone to look at it yet but I am now distracted by a 58 cardinal canned ham not to far from here. Don't think I can tow it with my 4 cyl ranger but might be a fun project....
