Another newbie from FL

Hi!

I'm an old road crone who had the good luck to own a teardrop for several months last year. It had some manufacturing problems that forced me to sell it, as I wasn't able or knowledgeable enough to fix them at the time. But I LOVED that thing! And now I'm about to go on the road again, and am determined to build my own.

I've been in and out of the galleries and the build logs and that this has to be one of the most creative and inspiring forums I've ever been on!

I look forward to pickin' y'alls brains. MMMMMM..... brains.....

Welcome to the forum.

It is good that you own one at least for a few month. Now you can make your own and address all the short coming the other camper had. Take your time and plan it out well. Most of all have fun doing it.

This is the most fun that you can have ...legally...! Lots of great folks in here that are able and more than willing to help with any questions that you may run into.

Hi Rod,

I'm in N central, just east of Gainesville, south of Jax. Hot and muggy and very rural.

I'm afraid I've become very obsessed since signing on to this forum!

And I can see how generous people are with their time and opinions. I already have some questions, but am trying to go thru the threads to see if I can find answers. I think this will be a bit of a challenge, as I'm partially physically handicapped, but I'm also determined and have some good craft skills. Hoping that will translate.

Hey Angeli! We are newbies also - and we are "west" of Gainesville! We have a 1964 Scotty in the midst of restoration and just picked up a 1960 Trail Feather (rare) this week which we will restore after the Scotty.
