Progress this weekend on our 7X14 Goldwing Trike toy hauler

Postby Smartin436 » Sun Sep 16, 2012 7:57 pm

Saturday was a bust, didn't get much done but today we rolled!!!

We got 2 windows installed, 2 exterior lights mounted, insulation finished, silver maxx air vent cover installed, power inlet installed, decal installed in rt side, (left side later). Caulked between wall and floor,(should have been done at factory). Door hold back installed.
My wife is a CT insulating master!!!! Couldn't have done it without her!!!!

Got a deal on an 11k BTU portable A/C unit off Ebay, it came in Friday. Plugged her up and it blows really hard and don't cool a bit.......................dissappointed but it came from a reputable seller, shouldn't be an issue to make it right. Was looking foward to finding out just how cold I could get it. Maybe next week.

This coming week we'll finish roughing wiring and start putting the plywood back up, then the floor tie downs, front cabinets......electical.....on.....and on.....and on.........

Man what fun!!!!! Man I'm beat!!!!!

Good looking CT. You've made a lot of progress! Work, piddle, work, piddle, think, head scratch, cus a little but smile a lot. I am enjoying my build. Progress is good. It takes lots of work to be able to put the interior walls back up. Just got mine up Saturday. Feels good! Keep up the good work.

Dadgum it! I cut that board 5 times and it's still too short!
