Teardrop Books

Postby jdp8402 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 11:27 pm

How's it going everyone? I was wondering if there are any good books I could buy that would help me in a teardrop build? I know there is tons of great material here, but sometimes I get lost in a topic. It seems that a topic might start as one thing then go straight to another while not finishing the last. Which isn't all bad, I still learn something new. I'm not looking for plans (although they wouldn't hurt), I kind of have an idea of what I want. I would just like something to prep me or assist me in a build.

Thanks

Not plans, but for some inspiration there is this book

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Teardrops-Tiny- ... 1423602749

I bought a copy off ebay to help decide my interior
Likes to think he's Norm from New Yankee Workshop

In reality, hes a average DIY'er with a 18x16ft Wooden shed

I didn't think there was much (or anything) out there. I've done a lot of searching. And actually webbaldo I ordered last week should be here tomorrow.

Thanks.

You could get Steve Fredrick's shop manual for building a teardrop. It walks you through building a frame, up to finishing the teardrop. Very informative. A lot of people on here have bought and followed all or part of his building style.

I agree with Dan. We bought Steve's handbook and found it very useful.

Thanks I'll look into Steve Fredrick's shop manual when I get home tonight. Got to go harvest now so I can get some money if I'm going to attempt a teardrop build this winter.

Thanks,
Jeff
