AM/FM radio

Postby rando18 » Sat Sep 22, 2012 11:53 am

Can someone recommend a good AM/FM (transister) radio that really
pulls in stations? Not extremely expensive. I like to listen
to local radio stations when traveling. I'm usually camping
in the Rocky Mountains.
Also love my XM radio.

Thanks for the info that I know you'll provide.
See ya out there.

It's funny you mention this. I was going through my camp gear when I sold my pop up and found my 20+ year old GE radio. It's been the best for listening to AM radio I have ever used. It looks like the RCA Super Radio but I think it has fewer controls on the face. The RCA seems to be well liked by radio heads.
