I am sad to say my friend and teardrop and vintage trailer guru Craig passed away last weekend at the young age of 48. He and has wife Jill are the nicest people you could ever meet. Craigs nephrew is a memeber on this board and built a trolley top teardrop trailer and my heart goes out to him and his family. Here is one of Craigs trailer he and Jill owned.

It's always a blow when we loose a member of our "Family" ... our thoughts & prayers go out to Craig's family & friends. May he rest in peace.

Craig and Jill were great hosts, and nice people.
I will miss him, and wish the best for their daughters.

Hi all,

I am Craig's nephew David. Craig was an amazing person and I will miss him deeply. He taught me a lot about trailers and helped me build and amazing tear. I'm beginning my new project a 19ft 1950 alma travel trailer and will use the skills Craig taught me to do so. I might have some questions but I will do my best. I know he was loved by many and i would be happy to answer questions you might have.

Sincerely,

Craig's 100th favorite nephew! David preston

David,

Thank you for making such a positive post in light of it all.
Please accept my invitation to join us/share your project over at repairing yesterday's trailers.
Craig was a regular, in fact one of the first 3 members...
To have you share your project in Craig's memory would be an honor.
