Looking for teardrop in Northern California

Postby chetwynd » Wed Mar 29, 2006 12:28 am

Hi all! Man, I just discovered that these bad ass little trailers exist last night and now I think I have to have one! I'm in the SF Bay Area and am wondering if anyone has or knows of one for sale around here? I'm looking for something that's only a couple of thousand dollars. I know I'm not going to get heaven on wheels, but it's a start! Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the asylum!
You might want to keep an eye on craigslist, as they turn up on there from time-to-time.....

Where are you located?

8) Welcome aboard!

Where in Northern California are you? If you would like to see and meet some TD locally, check out the thread about the Redwood Gatherings on this website or go to Pamplin Grove site to find out about a NW Calif. location for a summer gathering. Click on the icon at the top of the forum index page to go right to the Pamplin Grove site. We are inviting all TD and TD enthusiasts to attend the Inaugural Gathering in Carlotta, CA. the last week of July. You'll find some fantastic folks in our neck of the woods, as well as on this forum board. If they don't have the answer you are looking for, someone will probably make it a quest to find out for you!

hey thanks again everyone.

Thanks Rob for the tip about Mary's. I'm not really able to tackle a restoration project like that because I live in a condo and will have to store whatever I buy with family nearby, so I'm probably looking for something that's a little more ready to roll.

I'm in the Bay Area, about halfway between SF and SJ.

Welcome to the world of Teadrops!
I think that if you want something ready to roll you will have to pay more that $2000; Probably $3000 or more.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.
