"26% Dixie. You are a Yankee Doodle Dandy"

Born and raised in Chicago, from the age of 17 I traveled the country/world in the Air Force, now living in Texas. Guess old phrases/habits stick around.

34% Dixie - Many of my answers were common in the Great Lakes region and I have never lived there. I've lived in Maryland, but most of the time in Northern California. 8)

I'm an American. My ancestors came over after the (un)Civil War. I find it interesting that people continue to focus on their differences.

I do visit battlefield sites. Most recently, Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park and Fort Pulaski on Tybee Island... I find them relaxing. They are spacious, usually quiet.. and I try to honor those that died fighting for what they thought was right.

I do live in the Northern part of the country, but choose not to try and find a devisive banner to display in my back window. I do have an American flag that I put on after 9/11.....

I'm an American. I was born, raised, and lived all my life in Texas. My ancestors were of German decent. I fly an American flag in my front yard.

I made this post for fun not to divide anyone in our great country. I have always been a proud american and have displayed our flag on my front porch since 1976, the bi-centennial. I'll always be a California native in my heart but an american first. Danny

If our government dosen't do something soon we won,t have to worry about where we are from mexico is going to have control of the whole frigging country.
Some days all you can do is smile and wait for some kind soul to come along and pull your ass out the bind you've gotten yourself into.

As long as they have control of my lawn and fixing my roof, I don't care.

44% Dixie, barely a Yankee. I've lived in Indiana for 30 years, but grew up in the east , NY and NJ.
I'm confused, very confused

Well, according to my dad (back home in MN), if you're south of the MN/IA border, you're too damn far south..so perhaps the area of Indiana you are in is the southern portion of the state?
