Ah-HAAA! At last, something to do with my NOT-MINE camp stove.
Several years ago I bought a new Coleman multi-fuel stove and took it camping several times. The last time I was camped with about 25 others, sharing kitchen facilities. Last day, we had rain as we were packing up, and I had "help" tossing things into the back of my car. When I unpacked the next weekend, I had a much-older white-gas Coleman stove in the car, not my newer model.

Of course, I also had someone else's propane stove, as well. Tried to contact the campers I knew by name, but never connected with either the owner of the propane stove or the new owner of my stove.
So I have been using the propane stove, even though the conspicuous consumption of little bottles pains me. Last weekend I fired up the white-gas stove, admittedly with old fuel, and had trouble keeping it lit. Not sure yet if that is because of old fuel or old seals. Anyway, this will give me the excuse to clean it up, figure out why the fire is fizzling, and pimp it out.
