I may not agree with Ira on a lot of political ideas, and he may not word things PC...but I'll tell you what...if you have followed his build from the get go...he had basically few tools and very little woodworking knowledge, I'd be willing to bet that a large portion of his skills and knowledge he has gained from everyone here on this forum, and he has managed to build something that some people haven't done...and what I think is really admirable...he posted his screw ups all along the way, not afraid of the comments pro or con...you may or may not like him...but you gotta at least give him this...he's willing to give it his best effort and he sticks with the job that needs to be done, through hurricanes, and being booted out of his neighborhood with his project......he's got Chutzpah (sp?) Just my opinion...Hey Ira....  Doug

I agree with Doug.

Also, if we all thought the same and did things the same way this forum would be a very boring place.

And, Doug, I agree with you 100% Can't argue any of those points. And, to boot, he's actually built a teardrop...................which I haven't! I didn't mean to start another thread about Ira............Gage was the one who brought him up. The topic I started was about getting some of these lurkers to join in the fun, so can we get back to that, HUH?

And I don't believe I said anything bad about him. Why do some people always insist there is something in a post that isn't there? I guess I'm just out of touch with the younger way of thinking. :?

Have a good day.

P.S. Chris, I do believe you started it with a simple question.

Thanks, guys. (And of course Doug for starting this whole love-fest.)

And if we can get to this stage in our relationships, I think there's hope yet for peace in the Middle East.
Here we go again!
