For the rather unfinished state of affairs, everything worked well and we had no major issues, at least nothing that was a surprise. Towing went well, but definitely need a bigger lift on the hitch ball mount as speed bumps and driveways were a noisy event

One very-rookie mistake...if you have a locking door for your water inlet, you have to bring the key with you

This weekend, I pulled the mattress out so that I could start priming and painting the inside cabinets. Two coats of Kilz and they are now ready for paint
And, like it or not, I needed to get started on re-building the hatch. I decided that, for a start, I would try sanding the four middle ribs to match the contour of the outer two to get the birch to sit flat. I figured I would try this first as it is the option of least work, and if it isn't successful, then I can move on to more extensive measures. Step one, remove the outer skin and speakers:
Then I made a new template that matches the smaller of the two end ribs to use as a sanding guide.
Ready for the belt sander...next weekend!
